I just googled “Julian Casablancas” on a whim recently, figuring that guy has got to be up to something. Turns out he’s slowly unrolling info and promo for a solo album, which should be pretty interesting given his recent work on a track for The Lonely Island and the Danger Mouse/Sparklehorse/David Lynch “Dark Night of the Soul” project. Not to mention the song of the summer last year(imo) with Santogold and that little dude in the baseball hat.
Looks cool to me, the preview video peaked my interest. Thought I’d share.
